Tonight at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah in Brooklyn, you will find us swooning to Mira Billotte of White Magic singing standards. What might those standards be, you ask? We’re not sure, but last April she sang a cover of Nina Simone’s “Plain Gold Ring” at our party for F38, and we nearly fainted from the heat of her smoldering voice. It was a little hard to hear her then, but something tells us the crowd will be less rowdy in the Big Dude’s house. Just go easy on the wine, padres.
