We like to think that one day, with due diligence and light sleeping, we will hear 1% of all awesome music ever, but every time we get a blast from all-digital reissue label Anthology Recordings it's like, Too Much Awesome, Not Enough Life. But really, who cares who hears more? Just hear good. With that in mind, Anthology is joining up with superduperpsychhead Stefan Kéry of Subliminal Sounds who wrote the Obscuredelica Vinyl Archeology way back in F26 with Reina Fiske of Dungen whose amazing Ta Det Lungt was first released by Kéry and who we then put on the cover of F27 because we felt like it. Anthology and Subliminal's first joint releases will be Abner Jay's One Man Band, 13 grisly blues songs about hard living and mean women, and the Fanked-out surf sounds of that motherfanker Merrell Fankhouser (definitely not stoned above). Until then, you can sample most of what's available on the Anthology site and get an mpfree of Abner's "Vietnam" when you register with the mailing list. Whatever you decide to do after that is up to you. We suggest fankin' some shit up.
