We thought maybe Y-3's very special front row guest soccer super-striker Zinedine Zidane might have been a clue to Yohji's Fall 07 inspiration. EEEE! Guess again! Held down in the sweaty basement gymnasium of NYC's Hunter College, the set up was like a futuristic Indy 500, with wall-to-wall digi stop clocks and models zooming around the runway in red and orange cropped biker jackets. As well as all the moto-inspired gear, Yohji slipped in a few collegiate stripes and signature (if a little grunged-out) layering. Oddly enough, with all the fashion peeps congregating in the Hunter lobby after the show, the whole thing did start to feel like a big college reunion. The ultimate showstopping moment, though, came before the show when a backstager tumbled six feet from the empty runway (ouch!)--not a good look, even if it is a Fall '07 collection. More pics after the jump.
