Tonight at the Maysles Institute in NY our friends from Philly Anthony Smyrski and Dan Murphy, also responsible for Megawords Magazine, are celebrating the release of Public Wall Writing in Philadelphia, a photo book of graffiti in Philly from the ’60s to the ’80s. It’s as interesting a look at Philly graffiti as it is one at Philly itself during those years. You can pick up a copy at the release party (or here if you can’t make it), but keep your Sharpies tucked because the Maysles are good dudes.
