Video: Killer Of Sheep
- story THE FADER
This clip from Charles Burnett’s recently, lovingly restored late-1970s touchstone Killer Of Sheep is the kind of thing that sends Jolie scrambling for a new baby (Watch your back, Nia!). After nearly three decades and through the combined efforts of Milestone Films, Steven Soderbergh, the UCLA Film & Television Archive and of course Burnett himself, the simple story of a family’s struggles in the Watts neighborhood of LA is finally receiving its first national theatrical release. It’s already running in New York, opens today in Los Angeles and will make its way around the US throughout the summer.
