Audio: Here Come The Hotchipper

The last we heard from Hot Chip they were stomping about the globe picking up new habits with which to tarnish their future dandyrock disco. Then the Hot Chip contribution to !K7’s DJ-Kicks series showed up with new rocker “My Piano” which we’ve posted below. It sounds halfway between “Over & Over” and “Boy From School” from The Warning mixed with rocksteady, i.e. JAMROCKCITY2046. We’re gonna go throw our underwear (tiny sailboats) at the dudes tonight at the first of their two shows at Webster Hall and see if they respond with more new groovy goodvibes like this. If not, they are uninvited to our pool party at Coachella. Play your cards right, Hot Chip!
