If you download our current issue and flip the robot pages all the way to the back, you’ll see a Beat Construction with Icelandic production wiz Valgeir Sigurdsson that enlightens his process behind the boards for Björk, Cocorosie, Nico Muhly and Will Oldham. It also makes mention of a solo album Ekvílibríum which, thanks to Valgeir himself, we now have two video teasers for you to look and listen to here (first single “Focal Point”) and here (Will Oldham collaboration). If they’re any indication of the album’s quality, we’ll be singing it’s praises come July 9th when it comes out on Bedroom Community. If not, we’ll talk about fireworks or something.
