Video: Entrance, “Grim Reaper Blues”
- story THE FADER
When we last saw Entrance several months ago the band consisted of reedy wildman Guy Blakeslee yelping about the Devil, shredding axe and hammering a floor tom while Paz Lenchantin played scummy bass riffs. Shit kinda scared us into church. Since then they have only added our most recent favorite drummer to the lineup. His name is Derek and his hair is stunning. We also happen to know that when Entrance’s Prayer of Death gets played over blown record shop systems, old longhairs and young Chicano skaters trip over each other to ask the clerk what’s up. It just so happens the group has made something called a “promotional video” for “Grim Reaper Blues,” so you can see what we’re talking about.
