All About The Benjamin
- story THE FADER
It’s not really news that Andre 3000 stumbled when he started singing, and it’s also not really news that he recently started rapping again and crushed every track he was on. Things got a little weird when he hooked up Class of 3000 on the Cartoon Network, but it’s Andre and he is already a character (wocka wocka) so it wasn’t that much of a stretch. On July 3rd there’ll be a soundtrack to the first season called Class of 3000: Music Volume 1. Most of it is Andre singing over cartoon zaps and sped up jazz horns, but he actually raps once and that’s what we like to hear. It’s clearly for the kids, but that doesn’t stop us from hopping in our all over print train pajamas and jamming out Saturday morning sugar rush style just about every time we hear it. Everybody do the crayon!
