LA: Reggaemylitis
- story THE FADER
While preparing a post for tonight’s Dub Club with live Ethiopians and Maytones at the Echo, we stumbled upon what will now be our new obsession: dudes/gyals playing old reggae 45s on YouTube. Not dancing around or humping an ottoman to old reggae 45s, just videos of spinning vinyl. So good. We prefer user mrrk for his dedication to fidelity. The top two are “Drop Him” and “Pirate” by the Ethiopians and the bottom “As Long As You Love Me” and “Barrabas” by the Maytones.
