Boredoms’ 77BOADRUM
- story THE FADER
This is one of those events that, if it happens, will A) defy conventional logic saying it should be impossible to pull off and B) make all other subsequent live music suck real bad for a while. If you look at the diagram after the jump, the set up is a 77-member drum circle with the four Boredoms members at center, guest drummers spiralling out toward Hisham Bharoocha at the tail and presumably us and you on the perimeter becoming one with the universe. It begins at 4pm on Saturday at the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park in DUMBO and goes until dusk, but you MUST RSVP TO GAIN ENTRY. Sounds like a clusterfuck of epic proportions waiting to happen, but we’ll be there and even if you don’t get in you’ll be in a nice waterfront park with a bunch of weirdos. Impromptu hack-a-thon!
