Video: Thurston Moore, “Never Light”

This video doesn’t look too official, but, after talking to Thurston Moore for our next issue, it’s pretty cool to see the recording environs he was talking about. Here you’ll see producer extraordinaire John Agnello in his technology fort built in the corner of a bedroom, Kim Gordon clipping Thurston’s hair and Thurston himself recording and performing “Never Light” from his new solo album Trees Outside the Academy which came out this week. For anyone expecting Sonic Youth or even Psychic Hearts, you will be surprised, Trees is mostly acoustic, mostly songs and majorly mellow. Make sure to check F49 for more and listen to some songs off the album over at Ecstatic Peace.
