Audio: Sigur Ros Live At The New Yorker Festival

October 17, 2007

This is actually what Sigur Ros' music sounds like

Listening closely to Sigur Ros can yield weird results: seeing dead relatives, friends, or even G-O-D, blissful nudity, the urge to sob publicly, or even that odd sensation similar to what it might be like if all of your internal organs exploded at once. To drum up awareness for their up-and-coming documentary film, those dudes came over from Iceland (where it's actually green, not icy!) and played some tunes at the New Yorker Festival. You can hear some of those acoustic jams here.
