NYC: Soft Circle, No Age & Deerhunter
- story THE FADER
Every time we go to a Todd P show we are like Oh yeah! Concerts are really fun! and this one—seemingly tailor made for us FADERites—was no different. Hisham played soothing dance drone jams that sounded like whales, while a somewhat quieter than usual No Age climbed rafters and went wild while smiling, and before we knew it Deerhunter came with a series of focused reverb tunes, including the totally underrated “Like New,” before finishing what was apparently their last show for like a year. That was kinda sad news, but considering we were paying for beers with beads and seeing great bands we were glad we came. Check for a couple more images after the jump.
