Has everyone forgotten how awesome Dem Franchize Boyz are? Are you not still leaning and/or rocking with it? Oh do you not still like them? Somebody does because the Boyz have a new record coming out and “Talkin’” is the first single and the video has Princess and Diamond cameos. Doesn’t get any better than that. If you need to know what it sounds like before you listen, its a jazzy, sample-laden throwback to the golden age of hip hop. Not really, it’s a nutty ATL club joint with a synth line that sounds like a farting hippo. Dem Franchize Boyz will be in Brooklyn this Sunday for a show with Ricky Blaze, Webstar and Jason Fox at CPAC Nite Club.
