Martin Ramirez’s American Folk Art retrospective last year introduced us to one of the most jubilant and unfortunately marginalized artists of a collective American history. The idea of “outsider art” is a tenuous, loose and semi-spooky idea (outside of what? And who’s an insider?), but also spirited and without such brutal heft (Terence Koh, that white light hurts our eyes). If you are in New York this weekend and want to check the next coming of outsider art folks, go to the Puck Building (fun fact: Puck Building is aka the building the showed for when Grace on Will and Grace went to work) for the Outsider Art Fair. Check some images of the art after the jump.

Hello,
I’m interested in the picture by Philippe VISSON I saw on your website (http://www.thefader.com/ys_assets/0004/5801/Philippe_VISSON.jpg).
Is it to sell and, if yes, for what price?
I look forward to your future response.
Best regards,
Jean-Philippe HEIM
