Vampire Weekend is Awesome

Over the last few months we’ve made our feelings about Vampire Weekend pretty clear, and though their album was finally released this week, we’ve held off on weighing in on non-issues like hype or backlash. That being said, in today’s edition of Pitchfork’s guest list, Vampire Weekend keyboardist Rostam Batmanglij uses the word “awesome” 16 times. Which is awesome, because that’s how we talk.
