Audio: Bobmo, “Legally Dead for 4′31″”
- story THE FADER
French beatmaker Bobmo is 17, tiny, has that fluffy elfin hairdo that every French and tiny whiteboy seems to have as a birthright, is down with our homefellows over at Institubes, and makes tracks that feel like someone is putting hot knives into your ears. This is a desirable sensation. His new electro-banga “Legally Dead for 4′ 31,” from the 3000% YES! single was made, like all of Bobmo’s beats, on a Playstation console, and sounds like a full-force meltdown of the motherboard, like he asked himself how he could define the term “TWERKING” via synthesizer and this is what he came up with. It translates! As one of the commenters on the Kidz by Colette blog says, yep vraiment bon ces nouveau son !!! une bonne évolution vraiment. OLE!
