We thought Rick had nailed the Mann-Foxx-Farrell Miami Vice shit with “Money Make Me Come” but this goes a step beyond that. First, it ups the farty synths (the triumphant horns of ‘08), adds the girl chorus backed by a digital chipmunk singing “Take me to Miami tonight” like she’s addicted to the city itself, and uh Gotti. Gotti is brutal. Not groundbreaking in subject matter, just really good at making it sound really good. More jams like this and he’ll have more fans than Kuo and Kelefa in no time!
