We find it amusing that a rapper would actually go by his given name these days and then have almost nothing but pictures of Sonic the Hedgehog on his MySpace for us to use in a blog post. We also find it amusing that a rapper has made a pretty great song out of The Offspring’s “Self Esteem”, which is not exactly prime beef. That rapper is Charles Hamilton, and that song is a deep cut on his new mixtape with Green Lantern, which unsurprisingly has a strong Sonic the Hedgehog vibe.

A long time ago, when I was little, I saw a few episodes of this show. At the time, I felt it was too “kiddy”, so I avoided watching it. Since then, I’ve seen the websites devoted entirely to it’s memory, and they’ve definetly had an effect on me. Seeing the devotion so many people pay to this show, I must say I regret the childish attitude I had when I was a little. This show has made a lasting impression on everyone who saw it for what it was, a mature show made for everyone about a near hopeless struggle to take back paradise from a madman.
I urge you to see this show, and experience what I once missed out on.
