Freeload: Gang Gang Dance f. Tinchy Stryder, “Princes”
- story THE FADER
Gorilla vs Bear got the jump on Gang Gang’s epic Saint Dymphna grime track this morning, and we are glad to link to it because there is nothing more satisfying than hearing one of our favorite bands go fully in on a genre that basically only we, them and a handful of English dudes care about anymore. We are forwarding this song to Prancehall, one of those English dudes, to see if he can get GGD in the next Jammer video. In the meantime, enjoy the absurdity and bookmark the Social Registry storefront for Saint Dymphna’s release on October 21st.
PS- If you’re in New York, Gang Gang Dance’s Brian Degraw will be a part of A visual Conversation about Sound with the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Nick Zinner and Bikini Kill’s JD Sampson tomorrow (Sep 11th) at 1pm as part of MINI’s Rooftop series, moderated by former FADER editor-in-chief Alex Wagner. Bring your lunch.
