Exclusive Freeload: Apollo Sunshine, “Singing to the Earth (Mickey Moonlight Remix)”
- story THE FADER
We’ve been wondering how the worlds of Euro club music and folksy flannel rock would ever come together, and today we have our answer. The newest producer to release a single on Ed Banger Records, Mickey Moonlight, whose own bongo-happy “Interplanetary Music” has been getting some shine on the FADER jukebox of late, has taken Apollo Sunshine’s eco-friendly indie jam and made it some kind of calypso for astronauts. Coincidentally, the two will be passing like spaceships in the night as Apollo Sunshine finishes their tour of Mickey’s UK before returning for a bunch of dates in the States (see them after the jump)>
