Video: RZA, “You Can’t Stop Me Now”

Lately most members of the Wu have been aging pretty gracefully—there hasn’t been any attempt to recapture their original sound, so instead they just repurpose the basic idea of Wu-Tang into a more grownup package. RZA’s “You Can’t Stop Me Now,” is a perfect example of this—greasy guitar and RZA creeping around on roofs, still overly verbose and a little awkward and namedropping samplers without sounding nerdy. Considering 1993 already happened and won’t happen again, this is a pretty good direction to go in.
