If we had a dollar for every time someone emailed us asking why we aren’t covering more dubstep, we’d probably have 35 to 40 dollars. Well random dudes, here you go. Most strains of dubstep seem to be all about fog, rain and cold and all the depression associated with that, but Joker, a 19-year-old from Bristol is melding bass heavy heatrocks with whiney g-funk synths and distinctly southern drum kicks to create something entirely original and way less depressing.
