As you may have read, we were at Wavves’ show with Gary War, Nodzzz, Jon Caramanica and Blank Dogs on Saturday night at Less Artists More Condos, a full 24 hours after a bunch of other people saw the same lineup, minus Caramanica, at the Market Hotel. And yet, we heard no internet buzz or hype from any of the Friday nighters. What’s wrong with you guys? Regardless, the vociferous NYCtaper was there and recorded the whole show in high quality, and having now listened, we can attest to its fidelity with Saturday’s set. Both nights were brief, ragged and hoarse, possibly inebriated, though we heard Market Hotel was frozen while LAMC was a sweat lodge. Pneumonia!
