Moderat is an emotional techno mind-melding of Modeselektor and Apparat, part of the Berliner glitch vanguard that techno label BPitch Control reps. "A New Error" is soothing and wobbily melodic—luxe but sans extraneous frills, just hazy synths and a driving oscillator. We picture ourselves listening to this later in the bath with bubbles, having a glass of Syrah, but no candles—that would be going overboard.
