Barbara Hulanicki pretty much masterminded the look of a generation back in the ’60s and ’70s with her London-based label Biba—her swinging dresses and thigh-grazing minis were the stuff that dollfaces like Twiggy were raised on. Hulanicki has designed a capsule collection for Topshop, and the pieces we’ve got our eye on are covered in playful print that looks like a cross between hand-drawn animal print and translucent bubbles in a lava lamp. The clothes hit stores next week, and this subtle power-shouldered number that’s going for under $100 is just the kind of encouragement we need to get our daddy long legs out.

Hey I caught your blog and you mentioned lava lamps, which kind of lit a lightbulb in my head. Man, I love lavalamps and I bet others besides me among your readers would benefit from something I’ve been working on for awhile. The is URL attached to my comment for my site, LavaLavaLamps. I’ve had a site up for awhile and we offer lava lampsf or sale. So, if anyone wants to buy a new lavalamp that’s lost or misses their old one from the 70s, please do. Enjoy!
