Video: SMKA f. Gripplyaz, Young Trimm + A. Leon Craft, “Caddys”

Totally out of nowhere comes this video for the SMKA-produced “Caddys,” featuring relative newcomers Gripplyaz, Young Trimm and Backwudz associate A. Leon Craft. Some research shows us that Gripplyaz is overly worried about being labeled a hipster rapper, and that, coupled with Young Trimm’s excellent if somewhat Lil Wayne-influenced verse and A. Leon Craft’s self-conscious weirdness, means these guys could fall into some serious internet navel-gazing. But this song works so well and comes off so breezy and effortless that we don’t think they have anything to worry about.
