Benjamin Lebrave, of Akwaaba Music, sent us a note this morning, "Live From Luanda," and included an MP3 of an Angolan coastal kuduro freestyle he recorded by Os Lambas, what he says is part of a "new wave of kudoristas." He even gets a shout at the beginning of the song, "Papa Benjamin," except it sounds softer, like "Pasa Bensamen." Except the guy is yelling. Lebrave has been in Africa recording for his digital only label, with a plethora of releases to come. Stay tuned.
