Memory Cassette is soon to have a 7-inch on FADER favorite labels Acephale and Sincerely Yours, from which "Last One Awake" is taken. This remix by new friend Friend we caught over at Discobelle. That seems like a lot to report for a nice song. What we do want to tell you is that apparently "Friend Version" means "version that sounds like Stevie Nicks on ’ludes in the Caribbean." Much of Memory Cassette, who was/is Weird Tapes, sounds like riding a carousel in the dark, and if that's your thing there are many mp3s to be downloaded on his site.
