Cut-It-Out’s Tribal Prints For Fall ‘09
- story Chioma Nnadi
Cut-It-Out designer Yelena Konavalova started out covering her slouchy tees, dresses and leggings with super-sized Russian dolls and cheeky baltic jokesters, but her inspiration is shimmying south this season with ethnic prints for fall ’09. Although there are still tons of reassuringly baggy unisex pieces, the standout joints in the “Eye Dazzler” collection are definitely snug and Amber Rose-ready—a little curvage in a graphic tribal pattern goes a very long way over a skintight mini-dress or full body-suit.
