We’re all about layering patterns this season and yesterday designer Nicolas Petrou took that philosophy one step further, literally wrapping his models in a second skin of graphic prints, including stars, stripes and a gradient green that looked something like the incredible hulk after a good session on the tanning bed. It all made for a great foil to the clothes in his new line of menswear Petrou/Man—there were sequin lapels, mesh insets and heart-covered fabric—the kind of playful details you don’t normally expect from menswear.
