Video: French Montana, “Henny and a 44”

September 16, 2009

Despite having already inspired some great music, Hennessy hasn't really had the best association with rap as of late. "Blaming it on the Henny," however, couldn't be less appropriate in the case of Kanye because just like in high school, stunting way harder than you're built for can only lead to hurt feelings and embarrassment. And it did. French Montana, however, who seems well versed in the merits of drinking in public, just released another song referencing his beverage of choice, with a video directed by World Star all-star, Picture Perfect, who also once filmed a piece of another Frenchie video in the FADER offices. Notably, the intro for "Henny and a 44" makes sure to shout out Connecticut, a state French has mined for show money in the vein of people's champions D-Block and Papoose before him, and the only place we've been able to see French perform so far.
