great, great writing.
this kind of article is getting so rare, a writer who dives into their subjects' lives with such an observation power and such an excellent taste for words.
congratulations.

I fell in love with this band almost instantly. Those lyrics, they just make my heart melt.
They are totally one of my favorite bands of all time.
I can't get enough of them. I hope they come to Chicago one day so I can see them play.
Music is great.

damn good writing. This does seem to be more about your experience which is a different take for an article but I think this is what's missing in big pubs like RS or Spin... we (maybe just I?) want to read about what a day in the life is like --who these people are today. The past is a great point of reference but what made this piece better than the other pieces on Girls is that we get to see Girls through a current lens without the past being projected onto the present. This is who they are today. I appreciate your work here.
