The trajectory that led Memory Tapes to rhythmic and mystical mind music clearly made a stop at the shaded shade of darkwave and brooding quarter-goth. On "Walk Me Home," a Halloween mix made for Arawa, the art of the creepy toy piano melds faces with the darkest synths, and eerily teases out the creepiness of Italo disco. We think for the duration of October we are going to rechristen Memory Tapes as "Ghost Whisperer."
