We've lately been seeing the music made by The Bitters described as "cave pop," which we didn't really understand until we heard "EAST," coming from their new 7-inch (out now on Captured Tracks). Apart from the minimal instrumentation paired with poppy hooks, the drums sound like they were actually recorded in said cave, nailing what we can only imagine has been the goal of this band for a while now. Buy the 7-inch here, and if you can still find the sold out "Warrior" single, we recommend that too.
