The intro is actually a killer Eritrean folk jawn I copped from Chief Boima last week when I dipped out to SF for a guest set at his Baobab residency. Don’t know much about the singer but apparently she took the name Faytinga because her father was the leader of the “Faid Tinga” (translation: “Fighting Gun”) independence movement, in which she fought herself starting at the age of 14. Brap, indeed.

...Brab, BRUP = Teawett
Yes Eritrea is the most explosive country in Africa who is setting all the bars of standard
1:- Zeresenay is the best runner arround
2- And Eritrea has 9 Tribes and two big religion living side by side . one of the tribes is a tribe called Kunama [Nilotic].
3- Treasure cove of music yet to be discovered....

keep looking and visit Eritrea

Sup Stats,

Mavado tune is pretty tough. same goes for the Sizzla record.

I definitely agree with your sentiments about puting AT on ice for a minute. I don't hate it, but it's like, really? I'm just waiting for that all auto tune kids album to come blazing outta Nickelodeon! I'm also personally over the injection of electronica into EVERYTHING hip-hop, reggae and pop/ top 40, with producers/ artists staking the claim that they're trying to be innovative or on some creative, "new" ish. Come on already!

Anyway, just happened to be up and peeped the site. Definitely not the commenting type. Get at me maaaan!
