Washed Out Makes a Mixtape

Why aren't more people asking Ernest Greene bka Washed Out to make mixes? He could throw a bunch of death metal in the middle of this and it would still sound warm and comfortable. Then again, that's kind of the whole point of his music: world worry filtered through a gauzy screen of sun drenched melody. Initially asked by Platform to make a mix based around his recent marriage, Greene instead decided to make something designed to feel like one continuous dream, sort of like how we imagine dude's life is all the time. Track list after the jump and for more on Washed Out, check out FADER 65, on stands next week.
