New Styles From Osborn Shoes

December 16, 2009

We've been fans of Osborn Design Studios since discovering their shoes at the Brooklyn Flea earlier this year. Carla and Aaron Osborn source most of their colorful patterns out in Guatemala where the shoes are handmade by a small crew of artisans. Aaron had been working as a translator for medical missions when he coupled up with Carla to the design the shoes. Serendipitously, most of the people Osborn translated for were skilled craftsmen, so finding good cobblers to set up shop out there was easy. New one-of-kind pieces are now up on their site, including the Mystic Bootie and the Dad Jazzy. Check out a selection of our favorites after the jump.
