One Stop Shopping With Matt Singer

Open the home page of Matt Singer's website and the first thing that pops up is a cluster of crystals bathed in blue light for extra serenity. Oddly this is exactly the right image to get your shopping mind right for his marvelous collection of everyday objects—sturdy canvas totes, tie-dye leather lighter covers, roll-up backgammon sets and a killer selection of vintage watches. The designer worked at Jack Spade for almost a decade, creating everything from fly swatters to ping pong paddles, and his new solo label features the nine planets of the solar system, a cosmic emblem that's sewn onto all his wares. Since Pluto apparently no longer qualifies as a planet, there should technically only be eight planets. Luckily, like us, Singer has a soft spot for little Pluto.
