Looks like LCD Soundsystem mastermind James Murphy is putting together his own version of Funky Monks. Murphy recorded this spring's upcoming third LCD album in a rented church-ish mansion with a pool, camping out by the breeze, very purposefully away from the hustle and bustle of his occasionally beloved New York City. "Why would anyone go to a studio? Look how fucking awesome this place is!" he says, and he's right. This is labeled "Clip 1," so hopefully there's more footage to come soon.
