White Hinterland is kind of a perfect name for a lithe, breezy duo such as this, so evocative of dewy snowflakes melting on tongues and/or touchstones from British melodic post-shoegazers i.e. Cocteau Twins, The Sundays. Watch out, everyone's gonna start referencing those bands in like 13 minutes. "No Logic" is a meditative track of vocal layering and sparse bass bleats and a little wanky guitar part at the end that isn't actually wanky because it's just so damn charming. Their album, Kairos, drops in March and to be honest we are kind of obsessed with it, so cop that.
