We make a lot of fun of Julianne (FADER editor) around here because she posts remixes of remixes of songs by remixers we've never heard of of songs by bands we've never heard of. But her spirit is infectious and the songs she posts are routinely really good, so this one is for Julianne—and you of course—because it is full of the unknown and is really good. The key is to get your unknownness from known sources, though, and this remix comes from the owner of the excellent and eclectic Lefse Records, Matt Halverson, who also owns Waaga Records, where Emily Neveu and White Mountains find their homes, respectively. Neveu, not so coincidentally, is also the singer of Calico Horse, which is signed to Halverson's other label, Banter Records. And we just signed to Halverson's brand new label, This Will Never Come Out Records, five minutes ago. Congrats to everyone!
