There are zero actual words in this band's name, and you'd have to stretch it to find one in the song title, but that's how music is rolling right now. Just recently we caught Salem at the Levi's® FADER Fort, they had a hypewoman who did nothing but sit on the ground and smoke. It was weird in the way that watching a band try to find their live show footing is always weird. Maybe it's better to go the route of oOoOO, who make jams but are cloaked in vaguely annoying (but not so annoying that we won't keep listening) mysteriousness, who now have a video that caused us to try to turn the brightness on our computer all the way up. Is this how people felt about Art of Noise when they came out? Basically, we came away from watching this with no new insight into this band, and that's probably how they want it. (via Pinglewood)
