Kristmas, “Kristmas International” MP3

April 15, 2010

Kristmas is quickly emerging as one of the more interesting new rappers out of Huntsville, he's got a relentless dedication to rapping about his status as a legit member of the workforce, but he does it with the kind of character that would suggest otherwise. On some tracks, like G-Side's "Rising Sun," his voice sounds doubletracked, a tiny army of Kristmases rapping about making legit money. "Kristmas International" sees him going in a different direction, it's the next in a series of tracks facilitated by Southern Hospitality. Last time, G-side rapped over Hudson Mohawke's hyperactive "Fuze." Here, Kristmas goes a different route, fast rapping over S-X's haunting, minimal Woooo riddim. It doesn't sound like anything he's done before.
