We can safely say that the Safdie brothers (Josh and Benny) are the only people we know in their mid-20s who have an entire feature film under their belts, and a very good one at that. We recently got to visit the Red Bucket Films headquarters in a treehouse-like loft in Tribeca where the walls are decorated with their own chicken-scratch brand of illustrations. They waxed poetic on the subject of fathers, hap-acts, and their new film—loosely based on their own father, in fact. Daddy Longlegs (also known as Go Get Some Rosemary), premieres today at IFC Center. Though the boys would rather you see it now than later, it will eventually be hitting select theaters nationwide.
