Fabulous Diamonds‘ album on Siltbreeze was a serious burner, cheap keys crackling against the low roll of the tom drum. This new track, the much more upbeat “Track 4,” sounds not far from Young Marble Giants, though more ceremonial and less British and despondent. This band is criminally overlooked—possibly due to the gratuitous back hair featured on that LP—check them out now before the hopeful frenzy for their next album.
