From the moment we landed in Johannesburg last week, our senses have had little rest. From the morning football in the streets to the parties at night and all the people we’ve met in between, we’re not actually sure we’ve slept yet. Today marks the moment we can share some actual visual evidence thereof—specifically, the very first episode of our Pitch Perfect documentary series in collaboration with Nike Sportswear. It’s an introduction to the South Africa we’ve just met, as seen and felt during our first few days in the country’s largest metropolis. In addition to feeling as though you’re on the ground here with us, you’ll also catch glimpses of some of the faces, scenes and vibrations we’ll revisit as the series progresses. So without further ado, this is South Africa now, alive and kicking.
