School of Seven Bells' next album is called Disconnect from Desire, but it hardly sounds monastic. Early single "Babelonia"'s lush harmonic urgency comes off more as a complete submersion in pleasure than any sort of deprivation. So the band—Benjamin Curtis and twin sisters Alejandra and Claudia Deheza—dropped by FADER HQ to let us in on their collective headspace, the process of making their beautiful new album, and being "weird but okay." Disconnect is out July 14.
