On The Street: Style Week Jamaica

Jamaican modeling agency Saint International ends its annual Style Week every year by taking over New Kingston, and literally turning Knutsford Boulevard into a runway. International and local designs are paraded across the platform for curious onlookers and naturally, the packed crowd brings out Jamaicans with unique and authentic style too. This year, we spotted more then a few in shades of blue. From dark denim jumpers to cobalt-colored shirt dresses, various tones were sprinkled amongst the crowd and furnished with bright and shinny accessories. And as we lingered backstage designer Shenna Carby sported a floor-sweeping navy creation of her very own, looking fresh and relaxed despite the distracting clatter of changing models.
